An Afternoon of Drama

Please come and support our Year 13 students who will be performing three final exam pieces this Saturday the 11th May, starting at 1:30pm
- The Reveal - 1:30pm
- Your Daughter's Daughter - 3:00pm
- and Forgotten Faces - 4:00pm

Get Hooked on a Book!
Tavistock College and Devon Adult and Community Learning would like to invite you to:
Get Hooked on Book!
A fun, free 5 week course for year 7's and their parents to find out how to get the most out of reading.
Starts: Tuesday 4th June from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Tavistock College
- What is the best way to encourage reading?
- Choose Two Free Books!
- Top tips to find the most suitable books
- £10 WHS voucher and visit to store
- Yummy refreshments provided too!
- This course is funded by and run in conjunction with the Literacy Trust
- There is no cost to attend but places are limited so please book soon

Interested in Applying to University?
Thursday March 21st in the Octagon 4:00pm to approx 5.30pm
All students and parents from years 10 to 13 who are interested in applying to Oxford, Cambridge or the Russell Group Universities are invited to hear a presentation from the schools liaison officer from Downing College Cambridge. He will discuss the application and interview process, choice of A levels and life of an undergraduate.
Refreshments provided.

Red Nose Day, Friday 15th March
Tavistock College are supporting Red Nose Day 2013
so come and join us by wearing ONE RED item for the day. Donate a minimum of £1 to participate.
Please note: a small portion of the money raised from this event will be going to support some of our D of E students who are raising funds for an expedition to Botswana later in the year.
