Students have been issued with a bag which can be used to recycle unwanted textiles, bedding, clothes, bags and shoes. If anyone would like extra bags they can be collected from the Year 7 office.
The textiles will all be recycled by the company "Bags2School" and the College will receive money for the goods, according to weight.
This initiative is being organised by the Year 7 PTA who will use the funds to support College events and buy feed for the animals in Pets Corner, which are visited by many students across the College and visible to all as they live in an area overlooked by a glass wall in the Language Block.
Recycling goods need to be handed in to reception or Year 7 office by 9am this Friday 24th February. Students can bring in the bags and leave in the office first thing in the morning, any day this week, or parents may drop the goods into reception at any time.
Many thanks and happy clearing out!
Mrs Hubbard (Head of Year 7)
