Just to get into the spirit of things we have a display of ghastly Halloween books to lend. Anyone who takes out a book for Halloween can collect a free entry into the Halloween Draw!

Students in years 7/8 and 9 can win a 'Golden Ticket' to exchange for a hamper of sweets for their tutor group

Now celebrating its 16th year, ‘World Book Day’ on Thursday March 7th will be the biggest celebration of children’s books and reading in the UK and Ireland this year. Eight free books were produced in a partnership between publishers, booksellers, authors etc, working together to promote the enjoyment of books and reading to young people everywhere. To mark the occasion we will be giving away a free book token to every student so they can buy a book to read on ‘World Book Day’.
Author Katherine Roberts is coming on 4th March to talk to year 7 students about her books. You can spend your voucher as £1.00 off one of her new books and get it signed!
The Library will also be running 2 competitions. WHY NOT HAVE A GO! Prizes for the winners!

Daily Conundrums. There will be a daily conundrum on Thursday 28th February, Friday 1st March, Mon 4th, Tues 5th , Wed 6th and Thursday 7th
Only available in the Library – just pick up a slip from the counter.
Entries for each conundrum must be handed in by end of that school day!
